Had 1 wheel replaced. After it was done all 5 lug nuts on my wheel were loose, I unscrewed all 5 with my fingers. I could have been killed. Sorry service and had the gall to charge me $46 to put my spare tire on and not tighten it. Will not be going back

I don't use mechanics for anything but tires, alignments and state inspection. I went to Carolina car care last week to get my 1984 Benz inspected. First place I ever went that actually does a safety inspection. It took about a half hour but hey, they really did look at the car. The service writers were nice as could be and I had a great time talking with them while the tech inspected my old diesel. I also heard them interacting with other customers and as a mechanic and technician I can tell you they were being honest and we're not trying to upsell for no reason.

Ridiculously priced ($32 tool/shop fee) plus over $100 per hour labor. The prices are just ridiculous for what you get, which is not a “wow” by any means.

Really appreciate the excellent service I always get from these folks. Thorough, helpful, communicative, and fast. I've always been treated with respect and never felt pressured into work I wasn't expecting. When my kids get cars, I anticipate sending them to Carolina Car Care!

Too pricey....headlight change was $90 where anyone else would've been $50/$60

Thank you for the review David! We do everything that we can to ensure that our pricing is fair, and as such, I have reviewed the invoice to check for errors. You are correct - normally the cost of a bulb replacement is between $40-$50, but your vehicle requires a more expensive HID bulb instead of the normal incandescent bulb found in most vehicles. You actually came out on top compared to most HID bulb replacements - for example, an HID Xenon bulb replacement on a European car costs over $200.
